We were staying with friends in North Vancouver and found Orange Door courtesy of its impeccable 5-star only Google rating one night while wanting take-out. Needless to say we were not disappointed! The food was reasonably priced, tasty, and in typically ample North American portions. An excellent local joint.

Have ordered here a few times. It's pretty decent. You know, your typical Chinese food that's adapted to the north American palette. But the staff have always been very polite and efficient. Prices are very fair too. Give the orange peel chicken.

Spectacular food!!! I live really close so I didn't get the food delivered.. I think the give 10% off if you pick it up. I had a bit of trouble finding the place but that's just cause I'm blind at night time.. It's tucked around the corner on an alley off of 2nd.. Very cool spot. Takeout or delivery only - there's no place to sit and eat, but what a great place if you just want some good Chinese food in the comfort of your home.

Great Szechuan! Great selection. Take out and deliver only keeps the cost down. Everything tastes great. 99% of the time, they are the best. They can get very busy and wait times can go up, but worth the wait.

Three and a half stars really. The food is decent, although some dishes are better than others. Love the hot and sour soup though. Delivery is almost always ridiculously fast. For some wierd reason it has taken longer to get my food when I walk in and order and wait for it than when I call in for delivery.

The place has hands-down best Chinese takeout on the North Shore. The portions are generous and filled to the brim so you can always expect to have some left over for tomorrow. I highly recommend the pan-fried beef noodles, sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken. Service is always quick, friendly and accurate. A great option for a rainy lazy day or if you’re having people over!

Best Chinese take out on the North Shore! Easily one of our best kept secrets. Service is fast and the price is really cheap (they're takeout only, so their overhead is lower). It's the freshest-tasting Chinese you're going to get.

Cheap and Good

Tasty dishes at a decent price, make sure you talk to the guy if your order is complicated, we had a mix up where we got green peppers instead of broccoli on what was supposed to be a black bean sauce crispy chow mein noodles with beef and broccoli. Thankfully they delivered us what we ordered after and refunded us for the mistake. Great hole in the wall for take out or delivery.

I think this is the best Chinese food in north van. Just went back today for spring rolls and wor won ton soup since I am a bit sick and it was enough for 2 people for dinner. There is no seating there. It is take out or delivery only.

Quick pick up and good for the price.

Staff is very helpful and accommodating of food allergies - they always check with the chefs before confirming the order to ensure that there won't be any issues. Delivery can be a bit of a wait but pick up orders are ready within 10-15 minutes. The food is great and the portions are generous. We will continue to order here and recommend the Orange Door to others.
